IHK JF1 Installation

1. Use the template to drill the holes appropriately. If there is existing deadbolt hole it may be used. Make sure all parts line up properly.
2. Put the front part of the IHK JF1 (sliding front) into
the hole with wires first.

3. Put back plate on door. Align with front deadbolt
part. Use long bolts to join the back plate and
the front deadbolt assembly together. Hand
tighten, make sure that front deadbolt assembly
is straight and in proper position.
4. Next put the back assembly on to see if all parts
align properly. If they align, then use screws to
secure the back plate to the door.

5. Next, align back assembly onto the back plate.
When in proper position use small screws
to secure back assembly to back plate.
6. Then, align catch plate to the wall that is flush with
the door. Hold in position and test the deadbolt by
turning the lock in and out. Make sure the deadbolts
engage into the catch plate smoothly. Finally screw
the catch plate into the wall in proper place and height.

7. Make sure that you leave a 4.0mm to 5.0mm
space between the catch plate and the back
assembly unit. This will allow clearance for
the door to be opened and closed without
any interference.
